We want you to know the health and safety of our guests and team members is our top priority. We are fully committed to creating the cleanest and safest environment possible for your visit.

While we are committed to enhanced standards in an effort to keep you as healthy and safe as possible, there remains an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place and any place where people are present. Please, read this page fully to ensure the best experience possible as you plan your visit and join us.



Working Together to Avoid COVID-19


The health and safety of our guests and team members is our top priority. In these unprecedented times, we have implemented enhanced health and safety measures to help protect everyone. But we can’t do it alone. We are counting on everyone’s efforts to do their part by cooperating with these new measures that are designed to keep every person visiting and/or working at the Cartoon Network Hotel healthy and safe.


Guest Responsibilities


  • In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Those not fully vaccinated should wear a mask at all times, except while eating, drinking or on a water ride.
  • If you have a fever or are displaying other symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home
  • Wash hands often with soap and water
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Maintain appropriate (6 ft.) distance from others not in your travel party



Here are the specific steps we’re taking in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Planning a Visit

In order to comply with key health and safety measures surrounding limiting capacity, social distancing, and touch-free payment, planning a visit to the Cartoon Network Hotel will look a little different:

  • In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Those not fully vaccinated should wear a mask at all times, except while eating, drinking or on a water ride.
  • *People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their 2nd dose in a 2-dose vaccine series or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine.

Guests should familiarize themselves with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and evaluate their risk in determining whether they should attend our facilities. If you or a family member are ill or think that you may be getting ill, please postpone your visit until you are well.

By visiting our Hotel, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

While we are committed to enhanced standards in an effort to keep you as healthy and safe as possible, there remains an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place and any place where people are present. People who do not show symptoms can still spread COVID-19. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and persons with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable and at higher risk for severe illness. Guests should familiarize themselves with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and evaluate their risk in determining whether they should visit our facilities. If you or a member of your household are ill or think you may be getting ill, or you have been in contact with someone diagnosed or suspected of having COVID-19, please postpone your visit until you are well.

By visiting our facility, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

The Cartoon Network Hotel reserves the right to require a Guest to leave if the Guest is (i) using profanity, offensive or threatening language towards our Team Members or other Guests and/or (ii) violating any other Park Rules.

  • Reservations will all be conducted online. Walk-up reservations will not be available.
  • In order to reduce hand-to-hand exchanges, we encourage everyone to take advantage of our new mobile check-in and check-out system.
  • In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Those not fully vaccinated should wear a mask at all times, except while eating, drinking or on a water ride.
  • Team Members will also wear additional personal protective equipment, including gloves and face shields, to perform some work functions.
  • Those without a facial covering will be able to purchase them in the Hotel.
  • Automatic sanitizer stations have been added throughout the property dispensing alcohol-based sanitizer per Centers for Disease Control & Prevention guidelines.
  • Enhanced sanitizing throughout the property including a thorough daily deep cleaning of all touch points with an EPA-approved sanitizer.
  • In order to achieve six feet of social distance between travel parties, markers will be placed on the ground for the use of Guests and other entrants. Plexiglass barriers will be installed in locations where social distancing between Team Members and Guests or between fellow Team Members cannot be achieved.
  • Signage throughout the Hotel will remind all (Guests, Team Members, Suppliers and Contracted Partners) of the importance of following all rules during their time at the Cartoon Network Hotel.

  • Capacity of amenities indoor facilities at the Cartoon Network Hotel will be closely monitored to ensure minimum six feet of social distancing between travel parties can be achieved.
  • Reservations may be required at time of arrival for our Indoor Pool due to local indoor occupancy restrictions.
  • In order to achieve six feet of social distance, markers will be placed on the ground in lines and waiting areas for Guest use. Plexiglass barriers will be installed in locations where social distancing cannot be achieved.
  • Enhanced sanitization throughout the property including a thorough daily deep cleaning of all rides and touch points with an EPA-approved sanitizer.
  • Automatic sanitizer stations have been added throughout the property, dispensing alcohol-based sanitizer per CDC guidelines.
  • Hand sanitizer and facial coverings are available for purchase at the Hotel.
  • Team Members will be required to wear facial coverings and additional personal protective equipment, including gloves and face shields.
  • In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Those not fully vaccinated should wear a mask at all times, except while eating, drinking or on a water ride.
  • Guests must remove their facial coverings to engage in water-related activities, to include water attractions or misting areas. Coverings may also be removed in order to eat.
  • Some amenities may be closed during this initial opening phase, or closed for the entirety of the summer, if Hotel management feels recommended social distancing and hygiene standards cannot be safely and effectively achieved.

  • All non-porous surfaces, high touch points (door knobs, door handles, push plates, railings, light and air control switches) will be thoroughly disinfected on a routine schedule.
  • Indoor and outdoor tables and chairs will be thoroughly disinfected after each customer’s use.
  • Different Entrance and Exits will be designated when possible to avoid or reduce face to face exposure.
  • Employees must wash their hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and use a paper hand towel to dry your hands. They will ensure the restocking of soap, paper towels and sanitizer. This practice will be done at the beginning of each shift and throughout the day.
  • Sanitizers will be available in all food preparation areas and all guest service areas, (i.e. Order and Pick up points). In addition, employees will frequently sanitize all contact points.
  • In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Those not fully vaccinated should wear a mask at all times, except while eating, drinking or on a water ride.
  • In order to achieve six feet of social distance, markers will be placed on the ground in queue lines and waiting areas for Guest use. Plexiglass barriers will be installed in locations where social distancing cannot be achieved.
  • Tables and other Guest seating will be adjusted to ensure six feet of distance between all travel parties.
  • Grab n’ Go is permissible only if the items are individually packed with appropriate label and bottled drinks. 
  • Self-serve food, condiments and topping stations have been discontinued. Pre-portioned condiments and toppings (filled from bulk dispensers behind the counter) will be handed to the guest with the food order upon request.
  • Self-serve soda fountain refill stations will not be used. Team Members will fill and serve all drinks for Guests.
  • Individually wrapped cutlery forks and spoons will be handed by a cashier as necessary.
  • Napkins will still be available from no-touch dispensers.
  • We strongly recommend Guests utilize contact-less payment for all food and retail items.

  • Signage throughout the property will remind all (Guests, Team Members, Suppliers and Contracted Partners) of the importance of following all rules during their time at the Cartoon Network Hotel.
  • Purchases should be bagged by the team member using a bag supplied by the Hotel.  Team members are prohibited from bagging the purchase in a guest provided bag.  Team member can allow guests to bag their own purchase if necessary.
  • All Sales are final.

    In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Those not fully vaccinated should wear a mask at all times, except while eating, drinking or on a water ride.

    Costume masks are not considered appropriate and are prohibited. Face shields are not permitted as a substitute for a facial covering. Face shields are permitted within the hotel when worn with an acceptable facial covering.

    Guests are required to remove facial coverings while engaging with water attractions (swimming in the pools or playing in the Powerpuff Girls Splashville splash pad), in complying with water safety best practices. We recommend bringing a seal-able plastic bag to store your facial covering in if you plan to enjoy these attractions. Guests may also remove their masks while eating or drinking.

    Facial Coverings are not required:

    • In compliance with state and federal water safety guidelines, facial coverings are not required when enjoying water-based attractions, including pools and slides
    • While eating or drinking
    • For lifeguards on station

    Face shields are not permitted on any hotel amenities and are not a substitute for a facial covering. Face shields are permitted within the hotel when worn with a facial covering.
